With just three weeks left in our Dark Skies Over Torrey campaign, we would like to share the latest news with you. Lee Austin from KWAN radio station interviewed Torrey resident Mary Bedingfieldsmith about the project. They discussed many issues related to nighttime lighting as well as the history and current status of Dark Skies Over Torrey. You are able to hear their conversation at Entrada Institute KWAN Recording.

Our campaign ends on September 24. Through IOBY and outside donations, we have raised almost $10,000. To complete this phase of the project, we have about $9,000 left to reach our goal. Please help make this dream a reality by making a donation atIOBY.  Or, by sending a check to The Entrada Institute Dark Skies project PO Box 750217, Torrey, Utah 84775.

You may be interested in participating in the auction of Linda Flannery’s watercolor, Night Sky Over Torrey. The proceeds of the auction go directly to the Night Skies Over Torrey campaign. Go to the Art Auction.

Thank you for your encouragement and support. Your donation will help Torrey become Utah’s first International Dark Sky Community. The sight of stars makes us dream.
