This weekend is the 26th Bicknell International Film Festival, fondly known as BIFF. The theme this year is FEAST-ival of Food on Film, and the films will be shown at the Bicknell Theater, 11 East Main Street in Bicknell, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday July 19 and on Saturday July 20. The Friday night film is "The Food of the Gods"; Don Gomes, BIFF producer, claims it is one of the worst movies he has ever seen. It is nicely balanced by the Saturday night "Celebrity Buffet of Food on Film," which is a collection of some of the "best" food scenes of all time. Following the film's showing on Saturday night, the weekend's events will close with an "after party" at Etta Place Cidery & Taproom, 700 West Main Street, in Torrey.

Steven Rosenberg, founder and good food evangelist at Liberty Heights Fresh in Salt Lake City, will be the festival's special guest. He will be participating in various BIFF shenanigans and leading the BIFF Forum at Robbers Roost, 185 West Main Street in Torrey, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday July 20.

Tickets for both the Friday and Saturday nights events are available at entradainstitute.org. Tickets are limited, so if you haven't already reserved yours, you will want to do that now. BIFF is an experience you won't want to miss!
