Over the past couple decades, the Entrada Institute has become an integral part of our community.
The Entrada Institute serves the public through promoting the natural, historical, cultural, and scientific heritage of the Colorado Plateau. Come celebrate our community and show your support for this local nonprofit organization at our fundraising event.
The annual Friendraiser will be held on Saturday October 17th from 3PM to 6PM at the Robber’s Roost Bookstore and the Entrada Institute grounds behind the bookstore on Main Street (Highway 24) in Torrey. From 3:00-3:45PM members of the community are encouraged to tour the Entrada Institute grounds while enjoying beverages and hors d’oeurves. Then from 4:00-4:45PM experience a 2015 Retrospective & 2016 Preview of Entrada Institute activities.
Awards will also be given including the Harvest Time Scarecrow Festival awards. The Friend of Entrada award will be given to Kathy Kankainen and Dr. Jeff Chappell will receive the Ward Roylance Award. Music will be playing throughout with a concert from 5PM to 6PM by The Bristlecones.
