Marden Pond was the Entrada Institute’s Artist-in-Residence (AIR) a few years ago. He has continued to expand on themes related to the Colorado Plateau that were the focus of his works as part of the AIR program.

Music composed by Marden as part of his residency became the inspiration for a film/video produced by Utah Valley University.  This video was just named “Best In Utah” at the 2015 Utah Dance Film Festival.  The production was entitled “Voices In the Wind,” after Pond’s musical album which inspired the choreography and video imagery.  The music and visual imagery are an artistic response to the amazing scenery and culture of the Colorado Plateau.  Five noted choreographers created new dance pieces for the film.
