Dear Friends of the Entrada Institute,
As we reflect on the passing of another year and celebrate this festive season, we are writing to thank you for your support during this past year.
Put simply, 2013 was an inspiring year for the Entrada Institute. In spite of the uncertain economic climate, we were able to stage a full slate of Saturday Sunset Series events, from readings and concerts to scientific, historical and artistic presentations. We also sponsored scholarships for Wayne High students and hosted our popular cowboy poetry and music festival. To encourage the creation of new works inspired by the beauty of the Capitol Reef area, we continued to sponsor our annual artist-in-residence program. And, to cap off the season, our friends at Cougar Ridge Ranch generously hosted our 2013 Friendraiser, which attracted an overflow group of friends and supporters.
During this past year, we remained committed to providing a exciting variety of cultural, artistic, and scientific programs. We’d like to do the same in 2014. But we need your ideas, your enthusiasm, and your continued financial support.
