Thanks and an Invitation

An Invitation from the Entrada Institute

First, we want to thank all of you for your support of the Entrada Institute. Your generosity makes it possible for us to sponsor development of new artistic and scientific works, sponsor exciting programs, and fund scholarships for enterprising Wayne County high school students.

Thanks to you, our season has grown by six weeks in the past three years. We’ve also been able to start expanding into our new 2.5-acre Entrada Center next to Robbers Roost in Torrey.

Your support has allowed us to create a new artist-in-residence program in conjunction with Capitol Reef National Park and to launch a new science fellowship designed to further Colorado Plateau research opportunities, especially in the Wayne County area. We have also made significant progress at our new facilities, including new infrastructure at the Entrada Center as we prepare to construct a fabulous amphitheater adjoining the newly-built “straw bale” Green Room.

But even with all of your participation and support, there’s still more to do. Between now and January 31, 2018, we need to raise an additional $20,000 to launch the 2018 season.  You can make a general donation or for just $500 sponsor a weekend event and be a season underwriter.

We also welcome your donations for any of our 2018 season programs — our on-going $1.2-million capital campaign, artist residency and science fellowship, and high school scholarship program.  And let’s not forget our concerts, lectures, slideshows, and other Saturday evening programs.

2018 promises to be another year of excellent programming at the Entrada Institute. However, we need your support, your ideas, and your participation.  As a volunteer, not-for-profit organization, we can’t do this without you.  Please join NEH, UDAM, Wayne County Tourism, Torrey Town and our many local businesses and citizens in making our season and the Center a reality by making a donation at: https://www.entradainstitute.org/support/make-a-donation/

Best regards and Happy New Year,

Annette Lamb,

President
