Neal and Judy Busk are local historians who enjoy exploring the history of southern Utah. They spoke at a Saturday Sunset Series event in August 2011.

Neal and Judy Busk discussed the history of Torrey’s Chuckwagon, a Main Street institution, while sharing stories about “100 Years of Torrey History.”

Neal and Judy explored Wayne County struggles and aspirations through the eyes of Neal’s grandparents Port and Dot Pectol.

Judy is a former board member of the Utah Humanities Council and often speaks on pioneer women. One chapter in her book, The Sum of Our Past: Revisiting Pioneer Women, titled “Caineville” is about the Pectols. The photo of the Pectol family and quote in the book was recently part of a pioneer women display at the Department of the Interior in Washington D.C.
