“Happy Holidays & Winter Solstice"

Frank McEntire, a longtime board member and past Director of the Utah Arts Council now known as the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, has been coming to the Capitol Reef area for half a century. This is an important area, he explains, a place where different geographical regions and cultural traditions come together. An accomplished artist, writer, and community leader, Frank’s deep knowledge and love of the arts and humanities have built a bridge into the future for Entrada’s visual arts programs and continue to inspire the creation of new works. Frank invites you to join him and our past performing artists in contributing your time, treasure and talent to Entrada’s efforts.

Join us this HOLIDAY SEASON in supporting the 2026 GRAND OPENING SEASON at the newly constructed Entrada Institute Cultural Center. Help the community open the doors, host larger audiences and bring in exciting arts, music, science and humanities programs right here in Wayne County.
Your capital donations will be matched up to $15,000
between Now and New Year’s Day!

Direct Capital Donations will help with final construction, furnishing and audio/visual equipment at the new cultural performance hall located at 70 South 200 West in Torrey. You can do so by simply clicking on the following link: www.entradainstitute.org/give/

Designating Your Required Minimum Contributions "RMD" can be another meaningful way of giving for annual programming and capital construction needs - Do join me in doing so if you are 70 ½ or older, you may want to consider a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your Traditional IRA to The Entrada Institute. Your QCD can also count towards your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) This allows you to make a Tax-Free charitable gift and can reduce your overall taxable income. You will need to instruct the Custodian of your IRA to make a direct payment to The Entrada Institute. P.O. Box 750217, 70 South 200 West, Torrey, Utah 84775.

Thank you again for your time and support!

Don Gomes, musician, actor, nonprofit organizer, and business owner in Torrey, was introduced to Torrey as a performer and quickly became an enthusiastic supporter of the community and Entrada’s efforts to support the arts and humanities. He and his wife Annie have been instrumental in the creation of the new community arts center. They have also led efforts to create youth programs, theatre, and public arts. Don & Annie invite everyone to “come and join the gang.” They predict you will find out new things about yourself and the landscape you inhabit.
