Haylee Barney“My name is Haylee Barney and I’m the daughter of David and Desi Johnson and Steve Barney. I’m actively involved in Wayne High School’s student government where I serve as vice president of my student body. HOSA, FBLA, and NHS are three of the clubs that I take part in. I also get the awesome opportunity to start as point-guard for the Lady Badgers Basketball Team.

I’m a certified nurse’s assistant and focusing on a medical career. After high school, I plan to pursue my generals at Dixie State. I then hope to transfer to Arizona State University, get into their pre-med program, and, ultimately, become a doctor.

My parents, coaches, and influential people around me have been my biggest inspiration. They have taught me that hard work pays off and to never stop pushing towards my goals.” – Haylee
